Only 20% to 33% of all mesotheliomas arise from the peritoneum itself; the pleura is the most common site of origin.

The clinical and radiologic presentation of mesotheliomas is nonspecific which is largly called mesothelioma peritoneum . History can be very elusive because the most frequent symptom at presentation is abdominal pain. Routine laboratory tests are not useful in making the diagnosis, and abdominal radiographs will show signs such as abdominal distension.which is mesothelioma peritoneum
